How To Create Cheat Sheets For Every Position
Unless you have a photographic memory, your fantasy football cheat sheet is mandatory to success in fantasy football. A cheat sheet is simply a list of players that will be productive at each position. Your list should be based on roster requirements. Don’t just use drafting requirements, because you could change those requirements after the draft. I usually base my cheat sheets on starting requirements for each position. As an example, let’s say your league requires two wide receivers in the starting lineup each week, and you’re in a ten team league. At a minimum, you should have at least twenty in mind in this case. However, your cheat sheet should be based on production. Your cheat sheet should list the top receivers that will score points at a level that you will tolerate. You could have less than twenty or you could have more than twenty. If you’re not comfortable with the production, then it won’t matter as much who you draft after that point if there is a large drop off in production. These are players that you can draft late in your draft. You should use the same process for each position in your draft – running back, quarterback, wide receiver, kicker, and defense.
